KIDS IN MOTION It's time for The 2012 Kids in Motion (KIM) Exercise Challenge! Charts were sent home 1/13/12. Just do something fun and active for at least 15 minutes and fill it in on your chart 3 times a week for the next 5 weeks and you've met the challenge! Classes with the most participation and turn in their logs at the end of the program will receive fun prizes for recess. Video exercise programs on Wii and XBox count too! Brrrr its cold out there and our neighbors need our help!
The Fourth Grade Junior Girl Scout Troop #35238 and the Tashua Community Service Committee are collecting new hats, mittens and gloves for all ages. These items will be going to Bridgeport Hospital for patients that come to them and have no winter items to keep them warm.
Please consider donating to our box – which will be located in the front lobby until Wednesday, February 1st.
On Wednesday February 1st we will be making fleece scarves to go with all your donated mittens, gloves and hats.
Come join us from 3:30 – 5:00 in the cafeteria and help make a no-sew fleece scarf.
